The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Steel Operative to join one of our valued clients in Wolverhampton.

📍 Immediate start available!
💷 Pay Rate:
£13.21 – £13.50 per hour

⏰ Working Hours:
• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30
• Friday: 07:00 – 14:30

🔧 Key Duties:
• Assembling metal frames using hand tools
• Stacking and handling steel sections
• Changing coils
• Carrying out visual inspections of finished products
• General warehouse and production duties as required

✅ What we’re looking for:
• Previous assembly experience within the steel industry
• Drilling experience
• Confidence using hand tools
• Ability to measure accurately to millimetre (mm) specifications

The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Picker to join one of our valued clients based in Wolverhampton.

💷 Pay Rate: £12.74 per hour

⏰ Shifts:
Rotating weekly:
• 06:00 – 14:00
• 14:00 – 22:00
(Monday to Friday)

📦 Key Duties:
• Picking and packing customer orders
• Preparing goods for dispatch
• Moving stock across the warehouse (including loading/unloading)
• Ensuring accuracy and correct storage of products
• Following all health & safety procedures
• Keeping your work area clean and organised

✅ What we’re looking for:
• Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and team player mindset

Forklift licence training will be provided by the client!

🚨 We’re Hiring - Laser Machine Operator (Night Shift) 🚨

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Machine Operator (Tube Laser-LT722) to join our client based in Bilston.

💷 Pay: £16.00 per hour (£13.44 basic + £2.56 shift allowance)
🕥 Shifts: Sunday to Thursday, 22:30 - 06:00
📍 Location: Bilston
⚡ Start Date: Immediate

This is a great opportunity for a skilled operator looking for a long-term, temp-to-perm role with a well-established company.

Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Operating a Tube Laser machine (LT722)
✔️ Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently
✔️ Meeting production targets and quality standards
✔️ Carrying out basic maintenance and machine checks
✔️ Following all health & safety procedures

Requirements:
✅ Proven experience with laser cutting machinery (Tube Laser preferred)
✅ Valid overhead crane licence (in-date) - essential
✅ Ability to work independently on night shifts
✅ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
