We recently popped by our Gardening for Wellbeing group…and look how our garden’s grown! 🪴
Hosted by our Living Well Service, Gardening for Wellbeing offers a space for members to stay gently active, connect with nature and each other, and enjoy watching their efforts grow!
Since May, the group have been meeting on a Thursday to grow an array fruit, vegetables and herbs including strawberries, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, green beans, carrots, beetroot, basil and comfrey! 🍓
What’s more, the produce will be collected by our Catering team over the summer and used to prepare fresh meals for patients on our Inpatient Unit or shared with Crumbles, our on-site cafe.
Following a busy spring, the group is now looking for donations of compost - if you can help, please drop your donations off at our Reception at Compton Hall.
Our Living Well Service supports people with a life limiting condition to live actively and independently. For more information, please contact our Advice and Referral Line on 01902 774570.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended this year’s Compton Care Gala Dinner and helped make it such a special evening.
Your generosity, support and enthusiasm helped create an unforgettable night, and we are delighted to share that together we raised an incredible £78,705, with more fundraising still to be collected.
Every ticket purchased, raffle entry, auction bid and donation will help us continue providing vital care and support to patients and their families across our community.
We are incredibly grateful to our guests, sponsors, M&E Global supporters and volunteers for coming together to make such a meaningful difference.
It was fantastic to hear Compton supporter Tom speaking to the BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast team this week about his incredible challenge - https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZxEj5FNjDg/
