We're delighted to announce that the steel frame for St Margaret's Bus Station in Leicester is now fully fabricated and erected.

This was an extremely interesting project to work on due to the complex geometry of the trussed canopy system.

The bus station will be the first net zero station in the UK.

Thank you to our client who we collaborated closely with on this project and we look forward to seeing the station open it's doors to the public.

It's always satisfying to see one of our projects come to life.

The Stratford Upon Avon School extension project is now complete.

The new development has doubled the size of the dining area, allowing space for additional survey areas and has flexibility to be used for lessons and other activities.

Great progress being made at St Margaret's Bus Station, Leicester.

Accommodation block and Café Steel now fully constructed and the site team are now making good progress with the canopy steelwork.

Holy Trinity Catholic School - Sports Centre.

This portal frame structure contains a complex cladding system using vertical panel joint rails and cantilevered arms in order to support cladding rails that are required to terminate local to the architectural elements of the structure.

Virmod are excited to announce that we have secured the contract to model and detail the steelwork structure for St Margaret's Bus Station in Leicester.

The 13.5 million redevelopment will be glazed from floor to ceiling and will feature a striking curved aluminium roof that appears to float above the main concourse.

The building will be the first of it's kind. It will be the first bus station to be built to net zero carbon standards in the UK.

Electric bus charging points will be installed together with secure storage for up to 150 bikes.

Another project completed on behalf of our client. This extension to Stratford Upon Avon School has now been successfully fabricated and erected within programme. Virmod specialise in a range of projects from small extensions and refurbs to large scale industrial and commercial projects.
