I had an amazing time at the Boston networking group at today! 🔔

I’ve been meaning to visit this beautiful venue for ages – it’s such a fantastic space for events and community projects, and it definitely didn’t disappoint!

The mums I met were lovely, and full of interesting insights and experiences. I was especially impressed by the open-mindedness of the group and the inspiring conversations around working smarter and even incorporating AI into our businesses. 🤖
(In other news the only picture taken of me was mid-chocolate brownie... at least it was a delicious one! 😂🍫)

It’s always so inspiring to meet regularly with other business owners who are challenging themselves and making a real difference in Lincolnshire. 💪

P.S. Is it just me, or are all the Southerners moving to Boston for a better quality of life? We’re clearly onto something here! 😉

Today felt like a pivotal moment for me, as it was the first time I was able to share my plans for Kick Back Create with other local business owners... and even better in my home town at Stadium. 🏡 ⚽️

It was refreshing to talk to like-minded individuals through BNI Pilgrim- Business Referral Generation and even better that we were able to discuss .

What I really enjoyed was talking about mutual connections, as we know it is a small world, especially in Lincolnshire. 🌽 🚜

Some times you just need a fire day when you're working. 🔥🔥🔥

The simple action of JUST MOVING can sometimes have a big impact, for me my focus massively improved and I was able to pick up an ongoing project that has felt a little stagnant.

I think I'll rename the project - The Phoenix 😂😂😂

Abs here 👋👩‍🦰I just wanted to say Goodbye to and thank you for being such a humbling year for me overall, but also through my work life which merges so neatly into my everyday life now.

Firstly, I hand on heart believe that if anyone simply managed to keep on top of their mental health this last year following the continued disrupt of the pandemic.... 👏 THAT 👏 IS 👏 ENOUGH! This post is not a brag about achievements it's just a year in review from moments/things/milestones that influenced my life and my work.

1) The birth of my son George ❤️

Now, I already know having kids rocks your world in unimaginable ways. BUT now having 2 little ones has really tested me in so many ways I could never have imagined. I wouldn't have it any other way.... I am extremely aware of how lucky I am to have my wholesome family. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

2) My new client Rachel Mounter has been a dream to work with. I am typically not taking on new clients whilst having a new baby etc etc etc the list goes on but Rachel is a star and am glad to say a real friend now too 💪💪

3) Coffee - The addiction is still strong, I now steam my milk and grind my beans
😎😂 yes I'm that guy now 😳

4) Thank you Brené Brown... just wow! I cannot get enough of your content and it's opened my eyes/ears/brain to sooo many ideas/solutions/questions/behaviours and other courageous leaders. 👏

5) I am lucky enough to get to flexi work (within reason) being that I work for myself but I think I appreciated and utilised it more than ever this last year and I have been so much more productive.

6) I celebrated 10 years with my soul mate in a country pub eating a beef pie and drinking a pint and it was glorious ! Jane thank you for continuing to grow as a person with and without me. I love and respect you and adore the life we have built together.

I am grateful for my family, my friends, and of course my clients. You all enable me to live a life I am proud of that I want to share and keep building on... even though there is still a global pandemic plus soo much craziness happening around us right now.

So I actually only started drinking since I got COVID-19 back when it was more shocking in March 2020 (excuse the horrendous joke) 😂.... I started drinking it because I lost my sense of taste and smell and wanted something with substance!

I feel like now that I drink it I have become a member of this secret club that so many working professionals use in the workplace life, no one created the group but you know if you're in it 😎😂

Coffee for me really seems to be something that crops up at some point for most of my clients. Whether it be through using it as...

➡️A branding exercise
➡️An excuse to check in
➡️An ice breaker
➡️Or just fuel for a session

It really is a magical thing. I know it sounds cheesy but a year into coffee drinking and I see what an impact it can make to relationships. Plus now I am ofcourse addicted ☕️

Anyway, today I had coffee boiled in a bag... it was actually lovely! 😱😂
