If you're in Surrey, make a date to attend Holmbury St Mary Choral Society Christmas concert this Thursday, 14th December at 8pm, to hear my new setting of the Magnificat as part of a programme of music that includes modern choral classics by Ola Gjeilo, Herbert Howells and John Rutter, as well as a traditional festive sing along.

My Magnificat is rooted in the classical tradition but injected with the rhythmic vitality of Latin America and the harmonic shifts of American big band music.

The concert is conducted by Holmbury Choral's award-winning conductor, Cole Bendall and features Suzy Ruffles - Accompanist, Repetiteur on piano alongside a guest soprano soloist.
