Peer Productions
Pioneering theatre charity
Make Plays Change Lives. Transforming young lives through theatre.
Unique youth arts company specialising in peer education and theatre. We train young actors, tour new plays and deliver drama outreach workshops.
We are incredibly proud of our Artistic Director, Dr. Nina Lemon - Playwright, who yesterday successfully defended her doctoral thesis at the The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama.
Nina founded Peer Productions in 2006 and has spent twenty years making theatre with and for young people. Her PhD places that work under the scholarly lens — asking the questions that drive everything we do here: not just whether theatre changes young people’s lives, but precisely how and why.

We're pleased to announce that our 2025 Annual Report and Accounts have now been filed with the Charity Commission and are available to read online.
The report reflects a year shaped by the energy, ideas and achievements of young people. It celebrates the impact they made through our programmes and the difference that was possible thanks to the support of our volunteers, partners, donors and supporters. It also provides a transparent overview of our finances and governance.
These infographics provides a quick snapshot of what we achieved and you can read the full report here - https://www.peerproductions.co.uk/news/annual-report-25
At a time when there was growing concern about declining engagement with the arts among young people, our 2025 Annual Report tells a very different story. Throughout the year, the young people we worked with showed us what is possible when creativity is valued and their voices are heard. They embraced opportunities to perform, create, collaborate and lead, demonstrating that the appetite for the arts remained as strong as ever.
Every young person deserves the opportunity to discover their creative potential, build confidence and know that their voice matters. The stories in this report reinforce why continuing to invest in young people and the arts is so important.
