A wonderful afternoon of jazz with Nicholas Gill of Oxford Classic Jazz and Caroline Watsham on the terrace overlooking the green yesterday. If you missed it, they will be back next Sunday from 12.30 weather permitting.

Wonderful to be so busy today. Think lots of people had missed the real ale.

We are delighted to say that The C**k Inn will be reopening at 12pm on Saturday July 4 and we already have bookings.
We will be offering Shepherd's Delight real ale, San Miguel, Guinness, bottled beers, draught cider, wines and spirits.
Our menu includes sandwiches, toasties and tapas as well as main courses such as scampi and curries. Our successful evening takeaway service will continue.
There will be a few changes due to Government guidelines on social distancing and ensuring customers and staff are safe.
To start, we will be serving food and drink outside. Tables at the front, in the garden or in the covered area will need to be booked - even for drinks - by calling 01993 898003 in two-hour time slots from 12pm.
Names and contact details of everyone using the pub need to be taken to ensure compliance with track and trace legislation.
Entry to the toilets is via the rear door. Hand sanitiser will be provided.
We are really looking forward to seeing you all again.
