Mini Adventurers

Hello 🍂 and happy Friday! The shop has been a bit quiet to this July. Also I haven't been on Instagram very much - unfortunately we have had so many things going on as a family that I can't wait for days to get back to normality. A couple of years ago, if I ever got quiet times workwise I'd panic and think my art wasn't good enough, whereas now I've learned that the Universe somehow throws at me what I can handle and when I can handle it.
In the meantime, I've taken advantage of the quietness to learn new skills and try out new things. I must say, I do love my new knitting machine. 🥰

Good morning 🌄 first of all, thank you for this beautiful photo of Freya with her butterfly lovey.
🦋 she is a sweetheart.

A few things have happened in these past few weeks - to begin with, I've mingled my wrist (which I thought was getting better and took my cast off and now is 10 times worse...), Tessa's birthday party, birthday cake and favors kept me busy for about 10 days (despite the mingled wrist...) and very sadly my fiancé's dad passed away a few days ago so I have been preoccupied elsewhere.
I'm working a bit but often take breaks to tend to the kids - and it seems as though my routine needs to be adjusted where I work in the evening rather than trying to do it in the mornings. There's a lot of CBeebies playing again in this house 😅 (brings back lovely memories, but also - there's only so much Bing I can take...).

Good morning 💓 it's incredibly early - but I've been awake since 3.30 (for some unexplained reason) and I thought I'd tick the daily social media post off my to do list before Cutie Tortellini wakes up and gives me her cross eyed smile in the pursuit of a bottle of milk.

I have so many things to make this week - a unicorn gift set and party favours, so much that I don't know where to start 😅
In the meantime, I keep being asked for top knotted headbands by my Tessie-Tooties - apparently they're very much in vogue these days; what is NOT in vogue according to my 7 years old is my stash of fabrics. 😒
We are trialling a few designs and... who knows, you may see some in the etsy shop soon.

I'll try and do a ready made product drop on Saturday. I've taken pictures and everything, I just need to sit down at my laptop and work on my listings.

Okay, this is as much time as I can buy from Cutie Tortellini - so time to go make a bottle 🍼 and then hopefully she'll let me wash my hair...

I never post in the evenings - generally by this time I've logged off from the night.
However, Cutie Tortellini hasn't been too well following her vaccinations and today I've been working on and off at random hours.

A while ago, I made these scrunchie Headbands for me and Tessa to create a Mummy&Me look.
These were more difficult to make than I thought but I believe that the end result is quite fashionable.
These will be listed on Etsy in Thursday product drop.

I've been a bit busy working on orders this week - and social media has suffered as a result 😅 (honestly, Instagram alone is like a 3rd full-time job).

I'm slowly catching up, and my working hours have been all over the place. I am going to do 2 post runs this week instead of 1. I've been dying to go for a long walk, so I may kill 2 birds with one stone by using the Windsor Great Park Post office instead of the one round the corner.

In the meantime- who doesn't love owls? 🦉 I most certainly do, there is a story behind the reason as to why; so if you ever come across some cute owl photos, please feel free to send them my way 😅

How's everyone? Ready for the weekend?
Today has been such a sweet day - the sun 🌞 is shining and Lyra has slept most of it 🙃 which gave me some time to catch up on a few things.
Also, my colleagues from work treated me to a Chinese take away for lunch after having heard I was poorly last week, which was incredibly sweet. 🥰
