Join Amy from Progression Pilates for small-group Mat Pilates classes at Widnes RUFC, suitable for beginners and those with some Pilates experience.

📢 Pitch Glow Up! 📢

The pitch maintenance has started. The pitches and training areas on the Heath Road side are out of use until further notice.

Thank you for your understanding, whilst we get the pitches ready for the new season.

🔴 2nd XV & 3rd XV Leagues Announced ⚫️

League structures have been released and our 2XV and 3XV now know who stands in their way this season.

Fresh challenges, old rivalries and plenty of opportunities await as both squads prepare for another big campaign representing Widnes RUFC.

📢 Congratulations Charlie Feeley! 📢

Everyone at Widnes RUFC would like to congratulate Charlie Feeley on his selection for the North of England U20s Divisional Squad.

This latest achievement caps off what has been a remarkable season for Charlie. Not only has he established himself as a key member of our 1st XV squad, helping the team secure a play-off place and reach the Lancashire Cup Final, but he has also represented Lancashire U20s with distinction throughout the campaign.

His outstanding performances and commitment were recognised by his teammates and coaches when he was awarded Widnes RUFC 1st XV Player of the Year - a fitting reward for an exceptional season.

Now, Charlie takes the next step on his rugby journey with selection for the North of England, where he will have the opportunity to compete alongside and against some of the best young players in the country.

A thoroughly deserved honour for a player who continues to work hard, improve and represent the club with pride.

Congratulations Charlie – everyone at the club is incredibly proud of you and we wish you the very best in the upcoming festivals. 🔴⚫️

Looking for a new challenge next season? Come and be part of a growing and ambitious club.

Widnes RUFC run three senior sides every week, offering rugby at multiple levels with opportunities for players looking to compete, develop and enjoy the game in a great environment.

Our 1st XV compete in Regional 2 North West (Level 6), with our 2nd and 3rd XV sides competing in the North West Impact Leagues, giving plenty of opportunities for players to get regular game time.

Now the dust has settled and the clean up complete, we'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make Finals Day at Widnes RUFC such a success.

Firstly, thank you to Lancashire Rugby for giving us the opportunity to host the Lancashire Bowl and Plate Finals. It was a privilege to welcome players, officials and supporters from across the county to Heath Road.

A massive thank you must also go to our incredible volunteers, Grounds staff and bar staff, whose hard work behind the scenes ensured the day ran smoothly from start to finish. Events like this simply wouldn't be possible without your commitment and support.

Congratulations to all four clubs involved – Fleetwood, Burnley, Southport and Bolton – for producing two excellent finals in challenging conditions. The quality, commitment and spirit shown throughout the afternoon was a credit to everyone involved.

We hope all players, officials and supporters enjoyed their visit to Widnes and we wish each club the very best for the future.
