Tow bar electrics installed with a 7 pole relay made for the job, this relay has its own direct power supply connected to the battery with an in line fuse.

What this means is there is no extra current draw on the factory wiring to the rear lights which can cause damage to body control ECUs burning internal tracks or melting wiring harness’ costing £££ to replace and reprogram.

Peugeot 3008 🚘

- Customer complained his car had warning lights all over the dash and it was starting to feel slow and didn’t have the power it used too.

- We booked him in for a mobile appointment as he was worried about driving it and causing further issues.. and rightly so.

- A Quick systems scan pointed us towards the Turbo Charger Variable veins not reaching the correct position when requested, this caused havoc with the ECU’s requested parameters putting the car in limp mode.

- Upon inspection it seems the Turbo VGT arm had seized, we managed to free it off with some elbow grease & penetrant which got the vehicle back to driving like it should which we verified on the test drive monitoring logs.

- Nice cheap fix, no parts, just some muscle and some determination.
