Are you hosting a coffee morning today?

People all over the UK host their own Coffee Morning and donations raised on the day are made to Macmillan. The official date is Friday 24 September but it can be held at any time. From a group in the garden, sharing a coffee over a screen or a takeaway cake and cuppa, you can hold yours however you like.

In 2020, Macmillan raised over £10 million and hope to top that this year.

This week is Cervical Screening Awareness Week, aiming to highlight the importance of regular cervical screening for women’s health. Cervical cancer is the most common form of cancer in women under 35. Regular cervical screening appointments can prevent up to 75% of instances of cervical cancer, saving 5000 lives per year.
