You asked. Here's how to find us. πΊοΈ
From Wallington Station, head up the High Street, past Iceland, Greggs, Boots, and Sainsbury's (yes, all the important ones).
At the crossroads, take a left. Straight road from there. Pass the cafe, hit the corner, and you're on Clyde Road.
Look for the grey doors. You will see a sign on the left that says First Line Chiropractic.
Sofas on your right. Take a seat. I'll come and get you when we're ready.

A mum asked me if she should tell her kids to stop cracking their knuckles, worried it would cause arthritis.
My answer? Stop focusing on the cracking. Start asking why they feel the need to do it.
If your child's body is telling them to seek relief in their joints, something's going on. That could be:
Physical β posture, activity levels, how they sit at school
Mental/emotional, stress and anxiety in teenagers is genuinely underreported
Nutritional β certain foods increase inflammation, which lowers the threshold for discomfort
The cracking is just the symptom. The question worth asking is what their body is trying to tell them.
If you're not sure where to start, that's exactly what I'm here to help figure out.

My back always gets worse when I'm stressed. I used to think I was just being dramatic.
Turns out there are three types of stress your body is managing at once, and most people only think about one of them.
Physical stress is the obvious one. Lifting, driving, sitting at a desk, carrying the kids.
But your nervous system doesn't differentiate between a deadline and a car crash. Mental load shows up in the body as muscular tension, whether you clock it or not.
And chemical stress; sleep, nutrition, alcohol, changes how your body handles physical load entirely. Same injury, two different people, two completely different responses.
When your back flares up during a stressful week, it's not coincidence. It's your body keeping score.

Three years ago I nearly walked away from chiropractic. π
It wasn't the work...it was feeling like I was doing the same thing on repeat and something was missing.
The shift came when a mentor told me to stop looking at the condition and start looking at the person.
That changed everything.
Two people can have the exact same diagnosis and be heading in completely different directions, different goals, different lives, different stories. Once I started actually listening, I couldn't go back.
It's why First Line Chiropractic exists. Your health. Your pace. Your plan.
A patient once told me they were glad I got through my rut, because they didn't know where they'd be if I hadn't.
That's why I love what I do.
Time flies when you're having fun!
My brand new bench, built from scratch by the Atlas Clinical team arrived this week. Couldn't be happier with it and I'm excited to see the number of patients that will be treated on this bench.
Recharging the energy by making sure your spine is moving the way it was intended to. If you're tired of not being able to get through your day without feeling your back, this could be your call to have a conversation with a Chiropractor.
New addition to the office π getting to use them both for aesthetics and education π I have to thank my wife for finding the pictures themselves

Here's one of the most common questions that I get from patients, "what should I use? Ice or Heat?". Well here is some guidance that you can use when making your decision.
If you are still unsure, be sure to confirm with your healthcare provider whether it is safe.
To all the mums that are struggling to keep up with your day. It's not a time problem, it's that your body isn't keeping up with your life!
A lot of the mums I see are doing everything right. They are trying to keep active, they are showing up to all of the events, and doing everything they can. Unfortunately, they still feel tight in the mornings, stiff by midday, and detached by the evening.
Our body is very good at compensating and can push through a lot. But at some point something has to give! Part of my work as a Chiropractor is trying to find where your body is compensating and help you take back control when you feel like things are running away from you.
If this sounds like you, comment the word "compensate" and let's see how we can help.
