Wakefield RMS was founded in March 1958 for those interested in small scale model railways.
We meet every Monday evening at our premises near the city centre and organise an annual exhibition.

The latest issue of BRM features the society's modern layout Bardun. See it at the Wakefield Model Railway Exhibition on 17th and 18th October at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School.

I have been playing with some of the 3D Model building software currently available. They claim you can create 3d models from images or text descriptions. This is one in Tripo AI, generated from 'Full-length body of a Victorian railway worker with mustache in flat cap and waistcoat, shirt with sleeves rolled up to elbow'. You can generate a limited number for for free, but need a paid account for more, and to export for printing. This seems standard for all this type of app
