We’d love to see you there - come along and be part of our first preseason training session of the year.

After a successful end to the season with him at the helm, we are delighted to announce that Eddie Gooby has agreed to join the club as Head Coach for the 2026/27 season.

Eddie joins the club with a wealth of knowledge and experience and the ambition to continue rebuilding Old Cooperians RFC, with the goal of returning to Counties 1 Essex.

As always, we are grateful for the continued support of our players, families and friends, on and off the pitch, and it is as important now as it has been in recent years.

So, please join us in giving Eddie a warm welcome to the club and supporting him and the players as we head into the 2026/27 season.

Pre-season starts on Monday 22 June 7:15pm - 9:00pm on the field at The Coopers’ Company and Coborn School. Fixtures to be released in due course.

Just waiting for confirmation on which clubs are also in Counties 3 Essex with us... Looking forward to an exciting season ahead!

After a lot of hard work on and off the pitch, we are delighted to share that we are back in the counties league structure. A lot to be excited about for with new teams, huge sponsorships announcements and plenty of faces, old and new!

Preseason training starts on Monday 22 June 2026 over The Coopers’ Company Coborn School. We look forward to welcoming you all back after the summer break!

Come and join Old Cooperians RFC - a competitive, social, and family-friendly club with a great rugby culture on and off the pitch.

Training takes place every Monday at Coopers School (RM14 3HS) from 7:15pm, with our preseason training starting on Monday 22nd June 2026.

We also have U12’s & U16’s who train on Sunday mornings.

Players of all capability and for all positions are always welcome - come down and be part of it!
