A massive, heartfelt congratulations to Malcolm for completing the Giants Head 11k this weekend. Known for its brutal hills, beautiful but challenging Dorset terrain and its notoriously cheeky atmosphere, this race demands serious grit, endurance, and a good sense of humor. Good morning everyone, our runs for the coming week are as follows:

⭐ Monday 22nd June

✅ 5k trail, meet Broadsands beach by K'ohana cafe , 7pm. Social afterwards: sea dip and drinks ⛵
✅ 5k road, social pace. Meet 7pm, Corbyn Head

⭐ Wednesday 24th June

✅ 7k road run, social pace, meet at the bandstand, Youngs Park, Goodrington beach, 7pm.
✅ 10k road run, 9.5 mins/mile pace, meeting point same as above, 7pm.

⭐ Thursday 25th June

✅ 8k trail, 10.5 min/ mile pace, meet 6:30pm, Olde Smokey Pub.

With Torbay Velopark parkrun – I just made it onto their weekly engagement list by being one of their top engagers! 🎉

Well done to Holly, Nikki, Jane and Hannah who completed the Winding Paths 8 mile coastal run on Sunday. 'Shiver me Timbers' is a beautiful run along the SW Coast Path from Goodrington to Churston Woods and back... They saw the 4 beaches and even a few pirates along the way! 🦜 ☠️

Unfortunately it was a loss for the red team with the yellows coming out triumphantly. Needless to say, everyone gave it a good shot and played their best game since Year 9 PE.

✅ 10k trail, 10.5 min/ mile pace, meet 7pm, Totnes Leisure Centre (note: later meeting time than normal).

This weekend will be the One Millionth parkrun event so do come and join us, we have balloons & stickers and a Photo Frame and everyfin so join us on Saturday morning in the sunshine and celebrate. Our Event Director won't be there unfortunately but wants to send out a massive thank you to our volunteer team and all our participants for being part of this awesome event. 😁🥰
