Lee Matthews and Jeremy Kuur established Team 2 in 1996. Both came from a background in property. Lee in estate agency and letting and Jeremy in property management. Their experience in property management since the early 1990's led them to believe that they could provide a better more ethical service, this resulted in the formation of their business. Team 2 has grown from its office in Tor Hlll Road, Torquay, to incorporate work across the Bay Area with over 500 managed properties. By virtue of their experience and place in the market, they now find themselves offering advice and professional support to landlords or prospective landlords wishing to buy and sell property. Selling properties that are tenanted is a specialist estate agency procedure and with their track record in both estate agency and letting, they are ideally placed to provide a straightforward service. Team 2 often have people who have never been a landlord before, call the office with property details, requiring advice on whether or not they should buy it as an investment and what they should do by the way of alterations (if necessary), to make it an attractive let. As a consequence, Team 2 are not only making it easier for landlords currently operating in the region to buy and sell, but are also attracting investment from outside the region. In 2021 Team 2 Property Management will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary
