6 Regiment RLC

Capt Shaw and Sgt Maycock recently led members of 32 Squadron on a cultural study day in Tallinn, Estonia, focusing on the critical importance of integration. Cultivating cultural competence is essential for military personnel; it fosters stronger bonds with our international allies, enhances situational awareness, and ensures mutual respect. Successfully demonstrating the squadron's commitment to building meaningful cross-border relationships.

RLC BOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS 🥊

Outstanding effort from 6 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps, finishing 2nd overall at the RLC Boxing Championships.

Months of hard work, discipline, early mornings and relentless preparation paid off, with all ranks representing the Regiment with pride both in and out of the ring.

Special mention to Cpl Appleyard, awarded the Most Gallant Award for exceptional courage, determination and fighting spirit.

A result to be proud of and a standard worth setting.

UK NORTH BAWF FINAL DAY 💪🔥

Strong finish for 6 Regt RLC at the British Army Warrior Fitness (BAWF) UK North.

🥈 Male team 2nd overall in the league — Army Finals bound
🥉 Female team 3rd overall in the league — Army Finals bound

A huge effort across the season, with both teams now heading to Bicester for the Army Finals.

Event 1 for the CO's Shield comprised a BAWF workout, featuring two components: one focussed on strength and the other on endurance.

Male winners: 600 Squadron
Female winner: 600 Squadron
Mixed team winners: 62 Squadron

Looking back at Ex SPARTAN HIKE, where 6 RLC competed at the Divisional Nordic Ski Championships in France.

Ex LOGISTIC BOARDER 26 | Flachau, Austria 🇦🇹🏂

6 Regt RLC sent 8 riders to Flachau to train and compete in the inter-RLC snowboarding competition — pushing mental resilience, physical robustness, and teamwork through learning a completely new sport.

The exercise tested soldiers across three demanding events:
• Slalom – one week of instruction to link turns under pressure
• Boarder Cross – high-speed knockout racing with four riders on course
• Slope Style – judged on height, tricks, flow, and control

🏆 Top Novice Team overall across all three events
🥇 Pte Whalley – Gold in Slalom and Boarder Cross
