It gives us great pleasure to announce our newest members to the Solarflare family!

On bass guitar we have the talented Alex Brand, bringing the rumble and technique back to the rhythm section.

And on lead guitar we have the fantastic Rocky Robin, bringing his smooth playing and energy to the band.

We are so excited to get back to writing again!! And we are already looking forward to showing you what we have been working on!
The flames of the Solarflare are reignited.....Keep your eyes open for what's to come next!

A new year a new beginning.
This year will see us pushing to get the band going once again.
All hoping now the festive period is behind us we will be able see more people interested in helping us re-ignite the Solarflare.

We are looking to add members to our group, currently consisting of a drummer and singer, we are in need of:

*Lead Guitarist
*Bass Guitarist
*Keyboardist

Based in the Teesside area, we are an originals progressive metal band and although our style is very much our own we take influence from the likes of: Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree as well as some Rush to name a few.

We are working our way up from ground level and have many ideas and themes to start writing again.

We are looking for committed musicians who can keep up with our humour and style...

Your own gear is a must and own transport is a bonus.

Well, here it is!
Any and all musical talents, ages and genders are welcome although we are ideally looking for people familiar with prog metal and between the ages of 30 to 40 .

Hey there all!
So a bit of an update needed for the band and it's future going forward.
As is probably evident we lost a few members a month or so ago and although we wish them all the best in there own pursuits the band must look forward to the future.

Solarflare will continue!
Myself and Jack are still passionate and committed towards making the band a success and so, as of this update we will be starting the long process to building the band back up again
We will be posting an ad for new members on joinmyband.com soon as well as on here

Going forward we hope to post more updates and more information regarding plans and band related up and comings
