All we ask is that you have a minimum of 4 people.

👩🏻‍🍼 You don’t need lots of space, babies are very welcome so no need for childcare.

⚠️ Please be careful with garden hoses in this heat

💦 Today temperatures are reaching around 35°C in many areas of the UK, and while spraying the kids with a hose feels like the perfect way to cool down, there is something every parent needs to know.

‼️ A hose left lying in the sun can heat the water inside to dangerous temperatures.

‼️ When you first turn it on, that water can be hot enough to cause serious burns, especially on delicate baby and young children’s skin.

😢 We know this image is hard to look at but we’re sharing it to raise awareness.

Before spraying children with a hose:

👉🏻 Always run the water for a few minutes first until it is cool�
👉🏻 Test the temperature with your hand before letting it near children
👉🏻 Never leave a hose full of water sitting in direct sunlight�
👉🏻 Remember that babies and young children have much more sensitive skin and can burn at lower temperatures

🌞 Enjoy the sunshine, keep cool, and take those extra few seconds to make sure water play stays safe.

🥵 When the weather gets really hot, babies can be more vulnerable because they aren’t able to regulate their temperature as well as adults. So it’s helpful to know the signs that your baby may be struggling with the heat.

🧑‍🍼Every baby is different, and you know your baby best. Knowing what’s normal for your little one is important. If you’re worried or something doesn’t feel right, trust your instincts and seek medical advice.
