Window restrictors stop windows from opening too wide and protect people living in tall buildings from potentially fatal falls.
If your window restrictors have been removed or are damaged they need to be replaced immediately. If you are worried about the condition of your window restrictors or are not sure how to replace them please contact your Housing Manager for help.

Last night England won but not all survivors of domestic abuse will be celebrating.
While football does not cause domestic abuse, existing abuse can intensify around tournaments like these.

As World Cup 2026 excitement builds, it's important to remember that major football tournaments can coincide with increased reports of domestic abuse.
Not everyone experiences match days the same way.
If someone seems unusually anxious about games, reluctant to go home, withdrawn, distracted, or worried about a partner's reaction to results, don't ignore it.π©
π¬ Check in. Start a conversation.
π Listen without judgement.
π€ Let them know support is available.
π Encourage them to speak to a trusted person or specialist service if they're ready.
Football doesn't cause domestic abuse, but heightened emotions can create additional risks in homes where abuse already exists.
Awareness can make a difference. This World Cup, look out for one another. β€οΈ
