⭐ Meet Ben ⭐

Ben is one of our fantastic trainees in paid employment and an invaluable member of the Interestingly Different team.

If something needs doing, Ben is usually already on it! From stock and inventory checks to making sure the shop is looking s***k and span. He can always be trusted to keep the shop running smoothly while the team is out collecting furniture donations.

Recently, Ben has taken on even more responsibility by overseeing our used book donations – organising, sorting, and shipping to help raise more money for our organisation.

Watching Ben grow in confidence, develop new skills, and take ownership of key areas of the business is exactly what supported employment is all about. We’re incredibly proud of everything he has achieved and look forward to seeing what he does next.

Huge shoutout to Matt 👏☕️

Matt is one of our trainees currently in paid employment, working in store at Interestingly Different and has recently been gaining even more experience with our team at our caf@beansandbloomuk

Over 16 weeks, Matt completed our Beans and Bloom Hospitality Training Programme — learning all about working in a busy café environment, from customer service and teamwork to food prep and day-to-day hospitality skills.

It’s been brilliant seeing Matt grow in confidence, build new skills and continue taking positive steps forward 💚

We’re really proud of everything he’s achieving!
