Trinity is a welcoming, open-minded and inclusive church which is part of the United Reformed and Methodist Churches.
You will be welcome at our regular services which are at 10.30am on Sundays. In the evenings at 6.30pm we have a united service with our partners - St Nicholas Church and Sutton Baptist Church - which rotate between our 3 buildings. For service and event details see our web site.

Palm Sunday Choral Service - The Way of the Cross
Date : Sunday 29 March 2026

Everyone is welcome to our Palm Sunday service which takes the form of a performance of "The Way of the Cross" by Trinity Festival Choir.
The sequence of readings, poetry and music will be based on the Passion narrative from St Mark's Gospel, interspersed with traditional Passiontide congregational hymns as well as anthems by Gibbons and contemporary composers such as Philip Moore and Bob Chilcott. There is also a beautiful and original choral arrangement of "Were you there" and excepts from Handel's Messiah and Brahms’ Requiem.
There is no admission charge.
There will be a retiring collection, and all donations on the evening will be given to the charity Aid to the Church in Need, a charity that supports persecuted Christians globally, targeting aid in what actual local sufferers permanently “on the ground” identify as the most effective way. Please give generously!

Lent lecture - Is the Bible Fiction?

We invite you to our Lent Lecture which promises to be interesting and educational!
This provocatively titled Trinity Lent Lecture is given by Revd Dr David Dickinson, a previous minister of the church.
Taking a lead from the facts that children's Bibles are sold as 'The Story of the Bible', and novelists often reimagine Bible stories, this talk considers the role of fiction in the Bible and the way it uncovers the Bible's meaning and purpose.
All are welcome, free entry.

Our Candlelight Service is a wonderful way to usher in Christmas Day.
Lasting about an hour, this is a service of readings and carols, including beautiful music and a short sermon with a message of joy and hope.
Note that this is not a communion service.

Our Children's Crib Service is especially for tots and toddlers and their parents or carers, telling the Christmas story, dressing the church crib scene and singing children's carols.
A warm and friendly way to start Christmas! All are welcome and there is no charge.
This service will last no longer than 30 minutes.

We invite you to our Trinity Pentecost Lecture. Dr Mark Oakley, Dean of Southwark, will give a talk entitled
'The curse of literalism': poetry, God and the life of faith'
All are welcome, there is no charge.
Dr Mark Oakley is Dean of Southwark, and formerly Dean of St John's College, Cambridge. He is an admired public speaker and the author of several books on the relationship between poetry and spirituality, including The Splash of Words: Believing in Poetry, which won the international Michael Ramsey Prize for theological writing.
