The Stonecot Surgery team, alongside friends and family, proudly completed the Marsden March 🚶♀️🚶♂️💙
Together, we aimed to raise as much money as possible for the amazing work of the Royal Marsden. A huge well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to all those who supported, donated, and cheered us on along the way! We have raised nearly £9k and counting!
Every step makes a difference 👏✨
The staff of Stonecot Surgery, joined by our family and friends are proud to be taking part in the Marsden March in support of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust — a world-leading cancer centre.
Through our work and personal lives, we’ve seen first-hand the incredible care and support The Royal Marsden provides. It has helped many of our patients, as well as people close to us, through some of the most challenging times.
By donating to our page, you’ll be supporting their dedicated nurses, doctors, and researchers as they continue to deliver exceptional care and develop life-saving treatments.
Every step we take is for those affected by cancer. Together, we can make a meaningful difference and help save lives.
Please support us today — every contribution truly counts.

After more than 36 years of dedicated service, our Senior Partner, Dr Mark Free, will be retiring from Stonecot Surgery on the 28th September 2025.
Dr Free has been an integral part of the practice, caring for generations of families and contributing enormously to the health and wellbeing of our community. His commitment, compassion, and professionalism have been greatly valued by both patients and colleagues alike.
We know that many of you will want to join us in expressing gratitude for the many years of care and support Dr Free has given. The whole team will miss him greatly, and we wish him a very happy and fulfilling retirement.
The practice will continue to provide care as usual, and patients will remain registered with the practice team.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we say farewell to a much-respected colleague and friend and who will be missed by patients, many trainees and the staff alike. The Stonecot Surgery Team
