💙✨💚 A Wednesday Wow and congratulations to our fabulous Eco Committee, led by Mrs Riley, our dedicated Eco Teacher, who has guided our school through another two years of environmental initiatives and sustainable activities across the entire school and estate.

We are absolutely delighted to have achieved our seventh Green Flag, marking 14 years of hard work, commitment, and success in this important area.

💙✨ Our Wednesday Wow post offers a Huge Congratulations to Our Amazing Robotics Team!🤖🏆

We are incredibly proud of our talented team of four coders, along with Mr W. McColgan, who achieved an outstanding 🥈2nd Place at the Tyrone and Fermanagh Schools Robotics Competition, held at Mannok in Derrylin!

This is our first year entering the competition, making this achievement even more special. The team showed exceptional patience, skill and determination throughout the event. Even when faced with setbacks and the worry that their code had been lost, they showed true resilience—persevering and even giving up their own time at home over the weekend to prepare. 💪🏻

🫶🏻 A huge thank you to our supportive parents, including Mr Devine, who kindly supported the children in their preparations. We also extend a very special word of appreciation to Mr McColgan for his commitment in organising, supporting and accompanying the team throughout the competition.
We are so proud of everything you have achieved—what a fantastic success for our school community! 👏

💙✨ JUST TO CONFIRM - Our Summer Fair is running this evening as planned - but, with a few twists! 😉 The weather might have dampened our plans for our usual outdoor activities, but we are looking forward to bringing the energy indoors for our new look Summer Fair plan this year! So come along and join us INSIDE the school for the fabulous stalls, games and activities that we have planned, including some carnival games from Full Swing. We don’t need the sunshine or dry weather to have a good time at Strabane Primary 😎 Doors open at 6pm!

💙✨ This week our Wednesday Wow is celebrating an incredibly special achievement from one of our wonderful Year 1 pupils, and with her mum’s permission we share her story! 💙

Until very recently, this little superstar experienced selective mutism and found speaking in school extremely difficult. Last week, she began talking in class, and today she amazed everyone even further by volunteering to dance all by herself in the middle of the circle during our Performing Arts session! 🌟

We are so proud of the courage, confidence and determination she has shown. Moments like these remind us that every small step can actually be a giant leap.

A huge well done to our brave Year 1 girl — your Strabane Primary family is cheering you on every step of the way! 👏✨
