A fantastic evening at Stormont on Wednesday night as Eloise and Katie proudly collected foundation certificates, Ulster Scots Piping! 🎶

They are taught by our very talented Bagpipe tutor, Ivor Laird in association with the Ulster Scots Agency. We are very lucky to have availed of this partnership to provide lessons in school. Such a brilliant achievement, we are so proud of all the hard work and dedication that’s gone into this. Well done to you both! 👏✨

💙🏆 A fantastic achievement for Strabane Academy pupils Holly and Sophie-Rose!

Congratulations to Holly and Urney St. Columba’s U14 Ladies on completing a remarkable League and Championship Double.

Having helped her team secure the Championship title last week, Holly followed up that success by lifting the Grade 5 U14 League trophy last night, a brilliant achievement and a testament to the hard work, commitment and dedication shown throughout the season. 👏

A special mention also goes to fellow Strabane Academy pupil Sophie-Rose. Although unfortunately unable to take part in the league final, Sophie-Rose played a key role throughout the campaign and made a significant contribution to the team’s success.

Well done girls — a fantastic achievement to be proud of! 💙🏆

✨ Year 8 Induction Day – 18th June ✨

What a fantastic morning we had welcoming our new Year 8 cohort into Strabane Academy! It was so lovely to finally put faces to the names we’ve heard so much about from your Year 7 teachers. 😊

We were delighted to see so many familiar faces from our Open Evening, and it was a real pleasure to welcome both new and existing families into our school community.

Our students had a brilliant time meeting staff and getting involved in a range of activities across the school, from the Digital Hub and Technology to English, Science and PE. There was a wonderful buzz throughout the Academy, and it’s safe to say a great morning was had by all! 🎉

We’re already looking forward to seeing you again, this time in your Academy uniform, on 28th August for your next induction day. We can’t wait to officially welcome you to Strabane Academy! 💙

⚽🏆 Huge congratulations to Olly in Year 8 on an incredible achievement!

Olly helped lead Lisnafin to glory in the Lisnafin World Cup Final, scoring a crucial goal to bring his team level and force a draw before they went on to win on penalties and lift the trophy! 🥇

As if that wasn’t enough, Olly’s outstanding performances throughout the tournament earned him the prestigious Player of the Tournament award. ⭐

A fantastic achievement and a proud moment for Olly, his team, and our school community. Well done, Olly! 👏⚽🏆
