Haugh Field, Friday, 29th May 2026
Race Videos.

Thank you to everyone who came along to our opening meeting last night at Haugh Field and to everyone who helped behind the scenes, it is all very much appreciated.

The first race of the season, a maiden pace, belonged to Gavin Keith's CALEDONIA CRYSTAL, trained and driven by nephews Keir & Grant Cullen.

The novice pace saw Johnnie Nairn's track trained STATESIDE ATOMIC and last years SHRC leading driver - William Greenhorn win comfortably going to the wire.

The lower ratings pace saw Keir & Grant Cullen get their second training / driving win of the night when winning in the fastest time of the night with Jack Overs' DAVE DOON.

The fourth race was the SHRC OAKS for 3yo Fillies. Last year's SHRC 2yo Fillies Futurity winner - QUEENS , who also won last weekend at Appleby added this to her race wins. Owned by Tom McKenzie Jr & Steven Gilvear, trained by Gordon Gilvear and giving William Greenhorn his second winner of the night.

The higher grade rating pace was a one two for trainer Rocker Laidler with Rocker also being the winning driver on Ray Trembles RUN A SMILE with Ryan Inglis finishing second with James Paterson & Rab Govan's DREAMFAIR I AM.

The last race of the evening saw John Wilson's new purchase COALFORD GOTTA GO add the SHRC Derby to his SHRC Futurity Colts win from last year. And gave trainer / driver Rocker Laidler his second win of the evening.

Well done to all the winners last night.
