Farnham Common Community Library

The weather was kind on Sunday for the annual Farnhams Open Gardens. We had a great turnout and everyone enjoyed the 9 beautiful gardens on show. Thanks to all the garden owners, visitors and supporters, and especially to Pat Marshall for organising another wonderful event. All funds raised will go to the Library, and we are truly grateful.

Arts and Crafts Exhibition - 9th - 20th June
As part of Bucks Art Weeks we are excited to be holding an exhibition of art and craft from local artists at Farnham Common Community Library. The infant school will also be showing the finalists of their own art competition. Come along and view the art in the library from Tuesday 9th to Satruday 20th June during library opening times.

Tickets still available for Open Gardens this Sunday! With all the fine weather, there will be lots to see in all the 9 gardens this weekend - all proceeds go to support Farnham Common Community Library.
Get your tickets from the library - £6 per person.
Tea, coffee and cakes will be available in one of the gardens.

There's still time to get your tickets for Open Gardens on Sunday 7th June.
9 gardens will be open, all walking distance from Farnham Common.
There will also be plant sales, and a raffle, with tea, coffee and cakes available in one of the gardens.
Admission is by ticket only - £6 per person - and covers all gardens.
Tickets are on sale in the library.
All proceeds from the event go to Farnham Common Community Library.

Our next craft morning at the library will take place on 2nd July - 10:30 - 12:30.
Come and have a go at needle felting, and make a landscape picture.
Numbers are limited - book your ticket in the library now.

Thanks to all those that came out on Sunday to enjoy the Community Picnic at Farnham Common Sports Club. The library was represented by a book sale and plant sale.

What a fantastic morning at Farnham Common Community Library. Our community once again showed its generosity and spirit, helping us raise £310 in support of the Berkshire Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre.

From the delicious homemade cakes to the lively conversations around the tables, the library was filled with warmth, kindness, and connection. Every slice, every cuppa, and every donation helped make a real difference for a charity that provides vital support to people living with MS.

A huge thank‑you to everyone who baked, helped, organised, or simply came along to enjoy the morning. Your support means so much.
