Since the weather has stayed so bright, we’ve been out again cutting, turning, making and stacking the bales which are now available for sale with immediate use or for pre order in time for winter.

We call this little lady Katy. She’s not as powerful as Big Bertha but she’s a real work horse.

We ploughed the land, planted our rye and meadow grass seeds, nurtured new shoots, waited patiently, and when the most unpredictable country when it comes to weather (and beyond) decided to behave, we made it happen.

These shots show you the next stage after 24hr shifts of bailing whilst the weather held. From collecting the bales, loading them up, and transporting them to their dry place, we’re finally in!
