It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything (not through lack of taking photos) but what better way to pop up again than to share this post. A brilliant event which I covered last year, and it’s happening again soon! If you like bikes and racing uphill…check it out!

After watching most of the Sheffield Half action yesterday morning I was able to get over to see some of the action from the Edale Skyline too. I was surprised to see GB Ultra runner Tom Evans in first place who had a good lead over the rest of the field. It's a really great route for a run but I don't think I'd ever be brave enough to run it!

It's been a busy weekend in Sheffield...yesterday morning I headed up Park Hill to cover this awesome cycling event. Bikes galore! There were two short hill climbs just outside Park Hill flats and categories for kids, adults and even Brompton bikes.

I've been having a busy few days so far taking pictures again for the Montane Winter Spine race. The weather was incredible today! It's always great fun to work on this event, even if it does get a bit chilly sometimes...

After a quiet few months, I’m really looking forward to being part of the media team again for this fantastic race. Keep your eyes peeled as the action unfolds. There is a strong field of entrants and it looks like being a great race. Plus there is snow forecast too…I can’t wait!

MONTANE WINTER SPINE RACES 2023 | LIVE TRACKING

Welcome, dot-watchers! It's almost that time again. The Montane Winter Spine Races 2023 begin on 14th Jan. Across the 5 races this winter we have over 500 competitors taking to the Pennine Way and, as always, we're providing live coverage throughout the week so you don't miss a step.

On our website homepage, you'll find the live GPS tracking system where you can follow each runner's dot as they make their way up the course. The system is online now so you can view the rosters and the route.

Once again we have an extremely strong field of athletes out on the course and all the runners will be pushing themselves far beyond where they thought their limits were. Our roving team of adventure photographers and filmmakers will be out on the course throughout.

I don't tend to take photos at lots of weddings, which makes each one I do, even more special! Jane and Matt got married at Halifax Hall in Sheffield and after a day of terrible weather on Friday, the Saturday was gorgeous and sunny, a perfect Autumn day for them :)

A bit of a change from chasing after runners…I had a great night taking photos for the fantastic Renegade Brass Band. It’s a different kind of challenge to capture something like this and I’m really happy with the results!

An evening of amazing women! An awesome final session at the Commonwealth games, with a perfect view of all the action. Performance of the night goes to who didn’t spill a drop carrying two pints up the stairs.

The Montane Summer Spine record has just fallen in an incredible way, at the feet of Tiaan Erwee. He set of at a blistering pace from Edale and I honestly didn’t think he’d keep it up…fair play. Great to see him succeed in such a way. Congratulations Tiaan!
