Kitchen Radio

Kitchen Radio is a community focused radio station currently streaming four days a week. We are looking for TWO people to join our team as Producers.

Location: 17 Westfield Terrace S14GH
Commitment: bi-weekly Mondays 8am - 5pm
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Volunteer (unpaid)

About the Role:
As a Volunteer Producer, you’ll be the reliable person ensuring the day of streaming runs smoothly. You will be greeting hosts, making sure they feel comfortable, be ready to sort any technical difficulties and make a cuppa tea or two. You will be the first one in and last one out, so we’re looking for someone responsible and ideally with previous keyholding experience.

We’re looking for someone with :

🌟Strong organisational and communication skills

🌟Ability to work independently and collaboratively

🌟 Some technical experience with DJ equipment (or a willingness to learn!)

🌟Passion for community media, social issues, or music

🌟Reliability, creativity, and a proactive attitude

🌟Key holder experience in a current or previous job is ideal

No professional experience? No problem. We are happy to train someone to fulfill the role, we are mainly looking for enthusiasm, reliability and love for what we do.

This is an unpaid role, Kitchen Radio is run by volunteers. But you will have free access to workshops that we run, events we are involved in and other lovely perks of being part of the team 💛
