Welcome to the sale of our Overland Truck of which we’ve had for 11years.

Reason for sale: Invested into a new Overland camper build.

History: we bought this vehicle as a fire/rescue vehicle from Germany back in 2015 and did the original conversion in 2016. Since then the vehicle has been modified several as technology and ideas/needs have changed. This camper has travelled extensively in and around Europe and I would class it as full tested and reliable. Now MOT & Road tax Exempt with a current mileage of 72000 miles.

Base vehicle: LHD Mercedes 1222AF (4x4) 116km, 10.9ltr V6 - manual 5speed Hi & low gearbox, Average 10mpg, Locking central & rear diffs, 295ltr fuel tank, 5x 285 super single all terrain tyres.

Extra’s: 9.5 tone winch, stainless steel roof rack with though cab roof access, 4x aluminium Zurge like storage boxes, 6x LED truck spot light 75,000lumins, Honda 2.2eu petrol/LPG generator, s/steel mirror protectors, Rear bike rack, Roof hoist, wide angle blind spot camera, under run protection, all round locker lights, upgraded cab seats, crawl though, lockable cubby box and much more.

Costs

Owning, living and travelling in a vehicle like this can be surprisingly very inexpensive. Much cheaper than say a 3bed house in the UK!
I Base on a 8month trip to turkey we did in 2024. The total inclusive cost visiting 17 countries worked out at around 13k for the 8month trip. Working that out that’s £232pw for an all inclusive holiday. Hence this lifestyle is becoming very popular for that reason.

The truck itself is a great vehicle, being ex-fire service and having high ratio diffs will see you
cruising down any motorway at a comfortable 50mph. 4x4 capabilities to take you on any dirt roads to the idyllic camping spot or that distant beach.
You can say we’ve fully tested this camper and I’m very happy with her. The inside walls and colours can easily be changed to your taste. I’d recommend fitting a new kitchen and maybe freshening up some of the paintwork, the choice is yours.
