Staying hydrated is one of the simplest ways to support your health and wellbeing. πŸ’§

As we get older, it can become easier to forget to drink enough water throughout the day. Keeping hydrated can help maintain energy levels, support concentration, and promote overall wellbeing.

A small sip can make a big difference. What's your favourite way to stay hydrated? πŸ’™

Frailty can be a daunting issue when caring for an older loved one, especially when falls become a concern.

Falls are one of the biggest risks linked to frailty and can lead to serious injury, loss of confidence, and reduced independence.

The good news is that many falls can be prevented with simple steps at home:

- Keep active to improve strength and balance
- Keep the home safe by removing trip hazards and improving lighting
- Keep well by staying on top of health checks and reviewing medications
- Keep nourished with a balanced diet and plenty of fluids

If you’re concerned about a loved one’s mobility or wellbeing, speaking to your GP is a good first step. And if you need extra support at home, Home Instead Sheffield North is always here for a friendly chat. You can visit homeinstead.co.uk/sheffield-north or call us on 0114 246 9666 πŸ’š

HP and Care Pro Angela enjoyed a great afternoon up at Wentworth Castle and Gardens πŸŒ³πŸ’

A wonderful volunteer took them up to see the bird of paradise in full bloom, a trip around the grounds before dropping them off for refreshment at the cafΓ©.

Sounds like a lovely afternoon ladies!
