First ones in, last ones out!
We recently supported Accu at Smart Manufacturing Week, helping bring their Fight Fest Arena to life for attendees. 🤖
The Accu team wanted to create something dramatically different within the trade show space, taking what they delivered last year and amplifying it into a full-size robot fighting arena. It certainly paid off, with the arena proving hugely popular with visitors throughout the event.
Behind the scenes, our team managed the full technical production, including the LED wall, camera systems, live graphics, signage, lighting and sound. Everything was mixed live from the exhibition floor and fed directly to screens around the venue, ensuring audiences could follow every moment of the action. 🎛️🎥
The entire event was also recorded, giving Accu’s in-house content team a wealth of footage to repurpose across future marketing, social media and content campaigns.
A great example of how exhibition spaces can be transformed into memorable experiences that keep people talking long after the event has finished.

Let's play event tech bingo...
How many of these have you heard before?
For those of us working in event production every day, these terms become second nature.
For everyone else? They can sound completely made up!
The reality is, most event organisers don't need to understand every technical term, acronym or piece of kit. That's our job.
At Stream7, we never assume our clients know the technology behind an event, and we'd never expect them to. Whether you're planning a conference, hybrid event, live stream or internal communications event, we're always happy to explain things in plain English and help you make informed decisions.
Some clients want us involved from the very first concept and planning meetings. Others simply need a trusted technical partner to deliver on the day. Either way, we're here to support you as much or as little as you need.

A quick event planning tip: Don’t leave your production partner until the last minute.
The earlier we’re involved, the more we can help with:
📍 Venue suitability
📍 Audience experience
📍 Connectivity requirements
📍 Event flow
📍 Potential challenges before they become problems
We pride ourselves on being a trustworthy and dependable extension of our clients’ teams.
Sometimes that means helping shape an event from the very first planning meeting. Other times it means providing reassurance that everything is on track and ready for show day.
The reality is that successful events aren’t just built on great technology. They’re built on good planning, clear communication and having the right people around the table from the start.
A quick conversation early in the process can often save a lot of stress later on.

Today marks the official opening of the Pride of Yorkshire trail. 🦁💙
We’re looking back on the launch event we were proud to support with Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS and Charity as this incredible project begins across South Yorkshire.
Over the summer, 150 lion and lioness sculptures, alongside 150 cubs, will take over Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley as part of one of the UK’s biggest public art trails. The campaign is celebrating 150 years of Sheffield Children’s Hospital while helping raise vital funds towards transforming the hospital’s Emergency Department.
Our team provided event production and technical support for the launch event at Yorkshire Wildlife Park last year, helping bring together partners, sponsors and supporters ahead of the trail opening to the public.
One of the things we love most about projects like this is seeing how an event becomes part of something much bigger.
What starts as a launch event goes on to create months of engagement across the region, bringing together businesses, artists, schools, families and local communities for an incredible cause.
If you’re exploring the trail this summer, keep an eye out for some fantastic lion designs and don’t forget the impact the campaign is helping create for Sheffield Children’s. 🦁

Imagine you’re planning a company update for 1,000 employees.
What would you choose?
A - A standard Teams meeting
B - A hybrid event
C - A broadcast-style production
There isn’t always a right answer.
A Teams meeting might be perfect for a quick update.
A hybrid event can bring together in-person and remote audiences while encouraging interaction from both.
A broadcast-style production can create a polished, engaging experience that feels more like live TV than a traditional meeting.
The best solution depends on your audience, your objectives and the experience you want people to have.
The mistake we often see is organisations choosing the platform before deciding what they actually want to achieve.
If you were planning a company-wide update tomorrow, which option would you choose and why? 🎥

Successful live events don’t just happen on the day.
Behind every smooth stream, confident presenter and seamless audience experience is a huge amount of preparation, planning and technical detail. 🎥
From backup internet and rehearsals through to camera cues, comms systems and contingency plans - it’s the things audiences never see that often matter most.
A little behind-the-scenes look at what goes into making live, hybrid and virtual events feel effortless.

Hybrid events have changed a lot over the last few years.
They’re no longer just cameras at the back of a conference room.
From custom-built sets and live audience interaction through to branded content and broadcast-style production, hybrid events can feel every bit as engaging as fully in-person experiences. 🎥
If you’re exploring ideas for an upcoming event, we’d love to chat through some of the ways we’ve helped clients create more engaging and memorable hybrid experiences.

A festival site is one of the most challenging environments for high-bandwidth technology. Between fluctuating power, lack of fixed-line internet, and the logistical complexity of multi-stage setups, festival live streaming is a massive technical puzzle.
At Stream7, we don't leave things to chance.
We’ve spent years refining redundant systems - using bonded cellular and satellite arrays - to ensure that when the headliner hits the stage, the global feed is rock solid. For us, the magic of a live broadcast is the direct result of obsessive pre-production and a deep understanding of RF interference and signal paths: https://link.stream7.co.uk/Qf8B
We love the music, but we are there for the engineering. Ensuring a seamless experience for a global audience requires a crew that knows exactly how to handle the chaos of a live field. 🎸📡
Event streaming allows you to reach audiences anywhere, without compromising on quality or reliability. We make sure your content lands exactly as it should. 📡

Out with the old… 👀
Recently, the team decommissioned an install we originally put in place back in 2024, making way for some exciting new technology to take its place.
We can’t say too much just yet, but it’s shaping up to be a really exciting project and we’re looking forward to sharing more later in the year!
