Tyler Mason Mellins:

In a material interrogation of occult knowledge, hand bound volumes are transformed by the Great Work of 15th Century alchemists. The books lose their literary function but gain a sculptural one, becoming objects of embodied knowledge that reinterpret the acts of reading and writing.
