Each Thursday throughout the summer, workshops celebrating mixed media art, printmaking and the laser!

Thursday 11th June at 108 The Moor 1pm - 4pm

This week we are making door signs using basic shapes, motifs and text in Corel Draw and then cutting on the laser.

Next week...engraving wooden
printing blocks and printing cards, prints, paper bags, labels

Design and engrave your own printing block! We having an afternoon workshop on Thursday 18th June at 108 The Moor. Free if low waged or in receipt of any benefits

We'll be using Corel Draw to prepare our designs which will be approximately 120mm square. Then print cards or simply small prints to frame for your wall alongside other creative people

Thursday 11th June at our lovely laser studio at 108 The Moor, Sheffield S1 4PD we have a workshop introducing basic laser cutting and engraving. We'll be making door signs and will be using Corel Draw to to design our shapes, text and motifs. Then watch them being engraved using our Trotec laser

Workshops are free for low waged (under £24,000) or in receipt of any benefits. Come along simply to spend the afternoon making something or because you're interested in signing up for a course.

Introducing our first evening course and official update to Intro to laser cutting course. Now planned for evenings 5pm - 8pm starting 16th of June, so book your place now. Come an enjoy the ambient setting of 108 the moor in the evening when things are a lot calmer in town.

This course is fully funded and free for Sheffield residents aged 19yrs+ who are low income(under £24k/yr)/on benefits, this means it is free if you have not completed this course. Simply send an email to [email protected] to express interest

I have included a little breakdown of what to expect each week. This course is for those looking for a little more of a challenge than our basic learn create sell course and want to get a start making their own custom designs for laser cutting. Complete a weekly CorelDraw activity, learn transferable skills you can use to start creating your own CAD files in other software packages at home and think about your artwork in terms of how it will look when brought from the screen to reality.

Woodblock printing workshop! Thursday 16th June 1pm - 4pm at our lovely studio at 108 The Moor. Create your own woodblock using laser technology and we'll spend the afternoon making cards.

This is a introductory session to our Printmaking and The Laser course which will run later in the summer

There's a beautiful range of laser cut, engraved and hand painted designs including mirrors, earrings, leaves and mandalas.

Sheffield City Council

This coming Tuesday 12th May is the start of our first Website Building and Marketing Using AI, if you aren't already booked on we start at 10 am until 2pm, We will teach you how to safely and responsibly use AI to create your own website. The tools used will be free to use and you will come away with your own website and marketing material.

The course is funded by Sheffield Council and as such is free to anyone who earns under £24,000 pa, or on benefits and over the age of 19. Sorry due to the funding this is only open to people in the Sheffield area and is or would be paying council tax to Sheffield council.
