Field were commissioned by Leeds Beckett to create an exciting and impactful UCAS stand for the university’s School of Arts. Field collaborated with the art school across multiple departments, including fashion, product design and printmaking, combining each team’s specialisms to create something unique, all produced onsite at Leeds Beckett. The birch plywood stand featured vinyl application, silkscreen, digital print and motion design. It showcased at the Create Your Future creative showcase for UCAS, at the Manchester Convention Centre, November 2024.

This week, our team had an amazing trip to the HQ of in Hull! 🏭✂️ We dived into the fascinating history of this company, established in 1885 by George Frederick Smith, who had a true passion for paper and its endless possibilities. 📜✨ Big thanks to Josh for guiding us through the incredible Colorplan warehouse and workshops, where we explored embossing, laser cutting, and more! And Glen who we met on Paper Street to learn about envelope folding. 📬✉️ We have been inspired by the dedication and craftsmanship of the staff at GF Smith! 🙌💼

Exciting news! Our beloved home Park Hill has been shortlisted for the RIBA Stirling Prize, one of the most prestigious architecture accolades in the world! 🏆✨
Originally constructed in 1961, this brutalist masterpiece, famously dubbed “the streets in the sky,” has become an iconic part of Sheffield’s skyline. 🌆 Park Hill is the largest Grade II listed building in Europe, featuring 874 flats integrated with businesses, shops, bars, and pubs, creating a vibrant hub for the community. Initially designed as social housing for post-war Britain, it’s now celebrated as a key player in making Sheffield the ‘Capital of Cool’ according to The Sunday Times. 🙌💙

Here’s a little sneak peak of yesterday’s signage install at . As a Grade II listed building, the signage needed to be considerate to the building’s materials and colour tones. We’re really pleased with how it all came together and we can’t wait for the opening on Saturday 24th August. See you there!
