What a day! 🏇

Last Saturday we swapped our desks for Doncaster Races and had an amazing time letting our hair down and enjoying some well-earned team time.

We finished the night in style - dancing the evening away to Chris Moyles’ 90s DJ set 🪩🎶

💚 Mental Health Awareness Week at VeryPC 💚

Today, we took time to focus on what really matters - our people. We created a safe and welcoming space for colleagues to pause, connect, and access support.

From relaxed wellbeing drop-ins and confidential chats with our Mental Health First Aiders, to coming together for Wear It Green Day, the focus was on starting conversations and showing support for one another.

A big thank you to everyone who got involved - your support makes a real difference 💚

💡 Forget the budget for a second… what does your school actually need?

Too often, technology decisions in education are driven by what fits this year’s budget not what will genuinely support learning long‑term.

At VeryPC, we’re flipping that approach:

✅ Finance that’s easier and simpler
✅ Hardware stored and delivered when it’s needed
✅ Decisions based on real requirements, not budget restrictions

Last Friday, we swapped our desks for the driver’s seat 🏎️💨

Our team headed out for an evening of go-karting, and let’s just say… the competitive spirit is VERY real outside the office 😄

From photo-finish race to a few “creative” driving techniques, it was a night full of laughs, team bonding, and unforgettable moments.

Abbey Lane travelled to Woodhouse for an away match.

The wind was brutal, but that didn’t impact Abbey Lane’s commitment to wanting a result.

In defence, Isla was incredible, as always.

Isla never stopped closing down Woodhouse attacks. Always playing with intelligence to read what was coming her way and clearing it with precision. Isla was supported by Tilly and Mayzie who were equally clinical in their defensive contribution!

In defensive midfield, Emily was outstanding, and she found her place as a constant, important player for Abbey Lane, making some crucial challenges and putting her foot through so many balls to clear chances to protect her team.

Up front, Flo was amazing, a new position for her, which is so suited to such a fantastic player! She slotted in wonderfully, as if that position was always hers, and was brave with creating chances; she was dangerous on attack, with Abi, Reya and Evie H supporting her. All of them didn’t stop attacking the Woodhouse goal!

In the net, Evie B was excellent. An always constant in the Abbey Lane Team. Hardest position to play, and she makes it her own, week after week, and she commanded the goal like a pro!!

In midfield, Lacey was incredible today. Genuinely, this girl has developed so so much and is a constant battler within the team!!!

Abi started the match on the wing and made some excellent crosses, communicating where she wanted the ball to go, and was awesome on and off the ball.

But, respect to manager Steve for moving her back into defence in the second half, as that’s where Abi came into her own. Finding space, being brave, making challenges and assisting an in form Reya for a well deserved second Abbey Lane goal.

Manager/coaches POTM: Abi.

Abi played all over the field today. She continues to show her versatility and commitment to the team, wherever it is required.

Parents POTM: Flo! What a player. Brave under pressure, amazing in a new position, and just an all round baller!!

Abbey Lane U11 Girls are a special team, and they continue to display this week, on week!!

Well done girls

🌱 Supporting sustainability beyond technology

At VeryPC, we’re proud to support HERB, a local Sheffield community volunteering group dedicated to making our city greener and more biodiverse.

We recently donated pallets and wood materials to help bring their green roof project to life – a great example of how everyday resources can be creatively repurposed to support both the community and local wildlife. ♻️

We’re excited to see the finished results and share updates soon!
