We’re open as usual every day over Easter, except for Easter Sunday & Easter Monday, when we’ll be closed to carry out some very dull but necessary maintenance jobs. Happy long weekend, lovelies!

It’s April!

In our experience, the most enigmatic of all the months when it comes to predicting trade 🙈

We’ve had some amazing, trend-busting Aprils - but also several ‘oh my god what went wrong’ panic inducing ones too!

But such is life in retail - you roll with the punches, go with flow, and try to keep trusting the process, even on the scarily quiet days (JK, you panic like hell and question every business decision you’ve ever made 😅)

What will this April bring? Who knows! But you betcha it’s going to be dopamine drenched 🌈

A few more sneak peeks to brighten up a dull Monday 💕

It’s hard to find the motivation to post right now, given the state of *gestures broadly at the world* especially when you specialise in frippery and whimsy. So I remind myself that gift giving is about connection, love, empathy; everything we need more of right now.

Also, it feels more important than ever to add one’s voice to the right side of history. If you’ve ever bought a badge, print, or sticker from us, you’re probably already aware of our political leanings. Heck, if you’ve looked at our door at any point over the past 9 years, you will have seen a quote about unity from Jo Cox, the MP murdered by a domestic terrorist in 2016, so it’s not like we’ve ever claimed or sought to represent any kind of political neutrality in that respect.

And right now, neutrality looks an awful lot like complicity. So here’s a selection of some of our current badges, including some new ones that arrived today. If any of them bother you, oh well 🤷🏼‍♀️ 👋🏻
