Ok, I got the call can I come in for the results.
The Doctor and nurse come in and explain everything.
Then say I am very Sorry we have found a Cancer and we can't just monitor it we need to act quickly.
I tried to keep my cool but the tears welled up in my eyes.
Again the hospital staff were wonderful and once I got a grip of myself and regained my composure we had a laugh.
So I have Prostate Cancer and we have to act either radiotherapy or surgery!
This Monday morning I will have my bone scan

I then had to wait for the results.
A few days later on my way to deliver a training course. Urologists call to say they have found something suspicious. I listen and ask the question do I need to be worried? Not necessarily was the answer, we need to have a biopsy to find out more...
I am now a little worried but I have no symptoms of Prostate Cancer!

MRI Scan.
Nothing to worry about.
The machine is large and very noisy, and confined but you have a panic button if you get into a panic...I feel asleep in it, well it did take 45 minutes.
The hospital staff were great

1st I had to be weighed and height and fill in questionaire.
2nd p*e in tube and that is tested.
3rd I had a ultra scan of my bladder, all ok no issue.
4th Digital examination, or finger up bum to examine my prostate. Now do not worry about this it is not painful, I wouldn't like one on a regular basis but it is very quick 😆
I was told my prostate was smooth but she said let's have a MRI scan today!

Call from Doctors surgery saying the PSA result was slightly high at just 4...people can have it into the thousands! So I am now passed on to the urology department of the Hallamshire Hospital

So, I decided to go to the doctor because I had digestive problems for weeks! I thought I had IBS or something similar.
I had no Water Works problems!
My doctor decided to send me for a range of blood tests because of my tender stomach and diarrhoea
The blood test were taken and no real issue found, I was informed to have my PSA blood test retaken.
