Al- Majid | Seek Honour Where It Never Fades

So much of our lives is spent searching for validation.
We want to be noticed.
Appreciated.
Respected.
Remembered.
But no amount of praise from people can fill a heart that was created to find its worth in Allah.

Al-Maajid reminds us that true honour, nobility, and significance belong to Him alone. Human approval comes and goes. Opinions change. Recognition fades.
But the honour that comes from Allah is different.
It is not based on status, popularity, appearance, or success.
It is rooted in something far deeper: your relationship with the One whose glory never fades.

The more your heart seeks its worth from Allah, the less power the opinions of people have over you.

Save this as a reminder for the days you feel overlooked.
And share it with someone who needs to remember where true honour is found.

Read this twice.
We’re taught to celebrate speed: faster success, faster money, faster results. But speed isn’t the same as alignment.

We spend so much energy comparing timelines. Someone else gets the promotion sooner. Someone else finds love sooner. Someone else reaches their goals sooner. But “sooner” doesn’t automatically mean “better.”

The wrong opportunity can cost you years. The wrong relationship can cost you peace. The wrong decision, made in a moment of impatience, can create problems that take a long time to undo.

That’s why patience and perseverance are so underrated.
Sometimes the delay is creating clarity.
Sometimes it’s building maturity.
Sometimes it’s protecting you from settling for less than you deserve.

The right thing doesn’t become less right because it took longer to arrive. And the wrong thing doesn’t become right just because it showed up on time.
Trust the timing. Keep moving forward. What’s meant for you is worth waiting for.

If this resonates, save it for later and share it with someone who needs this reminder today.

A glimpse from this week’s stop on our Burdah tour.
Some poetry informs. Some poetry moves. And some poetry changes the way you look at the world.

The verses being recited are not simply words of praise, but a reflection on the station of Rasulullah ﷺ and the mercy Allah bestowed upon creation through him. The poet invites us to look beyond the blessings we witness in the world and consider the source of our guidance, faith, and connection to Allah.

In a time when so much of life passes by unnoticed, gatherings like these offer an opportunity to pause and remember the one through whom Allah brought light to hearts, meaning to worship, and direction to humanity.

May Allah increase us in love, gratitude, and sincere salawāt upon His Beloved ﷺ.
See you all at the next one In sha Allah!

This week in Swipe Through the Surahs, we reflect on one of the most beloved chapters in the entire Qur’an: Surah Yusuf.

This is the Surah for anyone carrying heartbreak, disappointment, unanswered questions, or silent struggles.

It’s the story of a boy thrown into a well, a father grieving for years, and a man who remained faithful through betrayal, injustice, and hardship. Yet through every twist in the story, Allah was working behind the scenes.

Surah Yusuf reminds us that not every delay is a denial. Not every hardship is a punishment. And not every closed door is the end.
Sometimes Allah is preparing something greater than you can currently see.
If you’ve ever struggled to understand why something happened in your life, spend time with this Surah.

Save this post for the days you need hope. Share it with someone who needs the reminder that Allah’s plan is always greater than our perspective.

Al- Badi’ | The One Who Creates the Unexpected

There are moments in life when you cannot see a way forward.
The door seems closed.
The answer seems distant.
The future feels uncertain.
But that is exactly when you need to remember Al-Badi’.

We often limit our hope to the possibilities we can imagine. But Allah is not limited by our imagination. He can create opportunities you never expected, solutions you never considered, and beginnings you never thought possible.

Your current chapter is not your final chapter.

The One who created the heavens and the earth from nothing can create ease from hardship, guidance from confusion, and hope from despair.
If this reminder touched your heart, save it for a difficult day and share it with someone who may need a reminder that Allah can create a way where they see none.

Comfort can hide pride, weak faith, bad habits, ego, and the parts of us we never confront while life feels easy.

But hardship exposes everything.

Pressure reveals who you really are when there’s nothing left to perform for. It shows what you truly trust in and what controls you when life gets uncomfortable.

And sometimes the real trial isn’t in not getting what you prayed for… it’s finally receiving exactly what you once begged for.

Because success can test people just as much as struggle does.
Some people stay humble in hardship but lose themselves in comfort.

Not every closed door is punishment, and not every open door is favour.

This week in Swipe Through the Surahs, we reflect on Surah Hud — a chapter about resilience, patience, and holding onto faith when life feels overwhelming.

This Surah reminds us that staying connected to Allah isn’t always easy, especially during moments of exhaustion, uncertainty, or emotional struggle. Through the stories of the prophets, Surah Hud teaches us that hardship is not a sign of abandonment — it can be a path to strength, growth, and deeper trust in Allah.
If you’ve been feeling spiritually tired or carrying silent struggles, this Surah is a reminder to keep going. Allah sees every effort, every prayer, and every moment you continue despite the difficulty.

Swipe through, reflect deeply, save this for later, and share it with someone who may need this reminder today.

Al- Awwal | The Beginning of Everything
There is something deeply calming about knowing Allah was there before everything that now overwhelms you.
Before your heartbreak.
Before your confusion.
Before the fear, the waiting, the unanswered duʿāʾs — there was Al-Awwal.

The One who existed before all things and the One whose knowledge has always encompassed your life completely. Nothing unfolding right now is unexpected to Him. Nothing in your story has ever been random.

We spend so much time worrying about the future, forgetting that Allah was already there before the future even existed.

Al-Awwal reminds the heart to trust again. To breathe again. To stop carrying life as though it is unfolding without wisdom.
Maybe peace is not found in understanding every detail.
Maybe peace is found in trusting the One who came before every beginning.

Save this for the days your heart feels overwhelmed.
