Free Holiday Camp at Rye Rugby Club, Hosted & Sponsored by Dallaglio Rugbyworks in Partnership with Rye Rugby Club and Rye Youth Zone!

We’re pleased to confirm that Rye Rugby Club and Cinque Ports RFC will merge from next season. With Ports facing ongoing player shortages, both clubs agree this move will both secure and strengthen rugby in the local area.

As part of the merger, Adam, Tom and Gavin will join the Rye committee to ensure Ports’ identity is carried forward. Rye’s 2nd XV will be renamed Rye-Ports (Rye Cinque Ports), and the current Goons squad name will transition into the Vets team. Key Ports figures, including Ashley, Henry and Luke Price, are also expected to carry on and support organisation.

Cinque Ports will complete their remaining fixtures, including their May anniversary match, before formally winding up on 30 June 2026.

We look forward to the opportunities that this merger presents and are proud to welcome all Cinque Ports players, both old and new, to Rye.

🚨FREE HOLIDAY CLUB- Dallaglio Rugbyworks are hosting a FREE HOLIDAY CLUB for young people ages 11-16years on Thursday 14th August and Friday 15th August.
On Thursday 14th Join ex-jockey champion Di Grissell and her racehorse for a unique insight into the horse racing industry-discover what it’s like to travel the world and work with animals! And Try your hand at the simulator, feel what it is all about!!

Starting This Evening at The Rugby Club (Every Tuesday from 7pm-8pm)!!! Why Workout When You Can Play Touch?

Get your cardio in and have a blast while you’re at it! Touch rugby is a great way to stay active, improve your fitness, and enjoy the outdoors. It’s a fantastic social sport that’s easy to learn and play!!
