I've had the pleasure of doing Jo's hair for over 15 years, and she came to see me yesterday at 94 years young.

Honestly, what a woman. Full of warmth, character and stories, and still looking fabulous.

Clients like Jo are one of the reasons I love what I do. It's such a privilege to be part of someone's life for so many years.

I really hope I'm like Jo when I'm 94 ✨

Short hair always looks its best when it’s kept in shape, so booking regular trims every 4 to 6 weeks really helps keep your style looking fresh.

Less is definitely more when it comes to product. Too much can make short hair feel heavy or greasy. Try a little wax, texture spray, mousse or styling cream to add shape and movement.

When blow-drying, use your fingers or a small brush and dry the hair in the direction you want it to sit. For extra texture, dry your hair first, then work a tiny amount of product through the ends.

Short hair can show oil a little quicker, so dry shampoo or texture spray is a great go-to between washes.

I also recommend a silk pillowcase to help reduce frizz and keep your style smoother overnight.

The best finish always comes from using products suited to your hair type. Fine hair loves lightweight volume, while thicker hair may need something more smoothing or controlling.
