We’re looking for a confident, outgoing Front of House team member to join Scran on weekends.

Hours:
Saturday & Sunday
8:45am to 2:30pm

This is a fantastic opportunity for a young person looking to gain experience in hospitality, customer service and working as part of a busy team.

You’ll need to:
• Be confident talking to customers
• Be able to strike up a conversation with anyone naturally
• Have a positive attitude
• Be reliable and punctual
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Be comfortable appearing in social media content

No hospitality experience? Don’t worry. Full training can be provided for the right person with the right attitude.

We’re looking for personality just as much as experience. If you can make customers feel welcome, have a laugh with people and create a great atmosphere, you’ll fit right in.

I mean…so many things to unpack here 😅

1. You think £18.95 for 2 medium full English breakfasts is expensive? 😳 crikey, don’t ever go up Stag or Wickersley sir 😂. Were amazing value for money, all our customer tell us.

2. Our produce is some of the best around, it’s so so rare someone doesn’t like our food, we have a 80% returning customer rate, which is insane for a cafe… (this from our till data).

3. I’m sure the cafe you mentioned is lovely, but I don’t need to “see how it’s done” we’re already doing well, and have a loyal customer base who were very thankful for.

4. POSITIVITY Graham, be nice to people, did your parents never teach you if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all…that’s what we’re all about at Scran, good vibes and great food. We’re good people.

I read a lot of books, and a lot of success authors agree that you shouldn’t take advice from someone you wouldn’t change places with, so I’ll not be taking yours sir, good day to you 🫡
