This week we are celebrating the amazing people who make our community at dayspace so special.

Mencap’s theme this year, “Do you see me?”, encourages conversations about how people with learning disabilities are seen, understood and supported. It celebrates each person as an individual and recognises the unique qualities they bring.

People with learning disabilities have their own passions, talents, dreams and personalities. Learning Disability Week is a chance to shine light on these qualities and challenge the assumptions that can sometimes prevent people from being truly seen and valued.

At dayspace, we’re fortunate to be part of a community filled with talented, creative and inspiring individuals. It's a privilege to support people to live life on their own terms, achieving their goals, and making meaningful contributions to the world around them💜

Anyone interested in additional sessions in the summer holidays at either our Reigate or Warlingham services, please reach out and we will try our best to accommodate around our existing timetables!

We know that services like bra fittings, hair trims, and beauty treatments are often difficult to access. That’s why we wanted to provide a welcoming, fully accessible space where everyone can enjoy these experiences comfortably.

⭐Tuck shop and refreshments

When? Tuesday 14th July
Where? Dayspace Reigate- 57 Albert Road North, Reigate, RH2 9EL
Time? 6:30-9pm

Join the Dayspace team for a walk around Priory Park! 🌳👣

On Tuesday 16th June at 4pm we are walking from Dayspace Reigate to Priory park in support of Mencap's challenge to help reach 1.5 million steps, raising awareness for the 1.5 million people in the UK with a learning disability.

Come for as little or as long as you like, everyone is welcome! Bring your friends, family and furry friends along too!🐾
