On National Thank a Teacher Day, we would like to say a huge thank you to all our teaching and support staff for their dedication, care and commitment to supporting and inspiring our children every day.

Last weekend, a group of Year 10 students took part in their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award Training Expedition.

They had a fantastic weekend, gaining valuable skills and experience that will support them in their final expedition this June. Throughout the expedition, the students demonstrated great resilience and teamwork.

Well done to all involved!

The children are having a fantastic time in Washington, Saturday the library of congress, tour of congress and an amazing picture on the steps of the Supreme Court, followed by a walk down national mall through cherry blossoms.
We visited Ronald Reagan food court which also had a Berlin Wall section. The African American museum of history was brilliant and Ace was beside himself to see Chuck Berry's Cadillac. We also saw the slavery civil rights exhibition, been into an American supermarket, met firefighters and had pictures with the national guard. Busy days 😀🚶🇺🇸🚶‍♀️🏦⚖️📙😀

Yesterday we celebrated World Book Day with lots of activities across the school. The Library and English Department were decorated with wonderful book‑themed displays, and pupils brought in their favourite books to share what they love most about them.
We also launched our World Book Day competition, supported by Waterstones, where pupils could re‑design the cover of their favourite book for the chance to win a Waterstones voucher!

On Friday, we were pleased to welcome local MP Rebecca Paul to Reigate School. Her visit provided a valuable opportunity for members of our Year 11 Student Leadership Team, alongside a group of Year 9 students, to meet with her and learn more about her role. The Year 9 students have been learning about British society and the role of Parliament in their Life Skills lessons this term, and they greatly benefited from the chance to ask questions and explore how these topics connect to real-life experiences.
