8th Reigate Scout Group

Finally a sunny Tuesday and we could start the Athletics badge. As well as the 50m sprint, old favourites such as the egg and spoon race and the blindfold assisted run were in the mix!

Today we had an indoor Highland Games to dodge the showers!

A change of plans today as it was too wet to start the Athletics badge. Instead, we had an evening of games in which the cubs showed what great team members they are! Always so proud of them!

So much going on today at cubs! Team challenge games met with exercises and listening games. Busy cubs earning badges!

Today the cubs tried new activities including some nifty hoola hoop chains as well as exploring healthy food for their Skills Challenge.

The cubs joined in with games tonight and learned about different kinds of lightbulb before practising changing a bulb!

First aid training tonight for the Scouts with a Head Nurse and a registered first responder, Graham Mountain, in advance of our planned incident hike next week.
