Consider limiting your caffeine intake to one or two cups of coffee per day β˜•οΈβ€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹

We're not saying eliminate coffee/caffeine entirely if you don't want to. However lowering your caffeine intake to 1-2 cups daily has its benefits with fertility when trying to conceive βœ¨β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹

Exercise has many benefits for your health, including increased fertility βœ¨β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹

Increasing moderate physical activity has positive effects on fertility for women and men, especially those with obesity.
The trick is that moderation is key.

Excessive exercise may change the energy balance in the body, and negatively affect your reproductive system. If you plan to increase your activity, add it gradually and make sure your healthcare team is aware.
Exercise practices like yoga and Pilates can be a great starting point to introduce exercise to your routine πŸŒΏβ€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹

Poor nutrition is one of the leading causes of infertility in both men and women.

While it won't make you more fertile, it is recommended that women trying to conceive obtain 400 micrograms per day of folic acid from supplements (if considering taking any supplements, including folic acid, talk to your health care provider first) and include foods such as dark leafy green vegetables and fortified grains (fortified grains can include whole grain breads and pastas).

Folic acid is needed to prevent neural tube defects. The neural tube develops into the brain and spine three to four weeks after conception, before most women even realise they're pregnant.

In general, eating more vegetables and a variety of types, eating healthy monounsaturated fats instead of saturated and trans fats, making at least half your grains whole, and getting enough calcium-rich foods β€” including dairy β€” will help you meet nutrient needs and promote a healthy weight.

How to increase iron levels & how it can help:

An eating pattern rich in iron that comes from vegetables and supplements may lower the risk of ovulatory infertility, according to results from The Nurses' Health Study II, which followed 18,500 female nurses trying to get pregnant. Ovulatory infertility is only one cause of infertility.

Vegetarian foods with iron include beans, lentils, spinach, fortified cereals, long-grain enriched rice and whole grains. Add vitamin C from citrus fruits, bell peppers or berries to your meals to enhance iron absorption. πŸ“β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹
