This marks an exciting new chapter for Crosfields, providing families with a clear and seamless pathway through the school, while extending our warm, values-led and academically ambitious environment into Sixth Form. We look forward to welcoming our first cohort in 2027 and to sharing this important milestone with our community.

πŸ‘βœ¨ Furry Fun at Little Acorns! βœ¨πŸ‘

We were thrilled to welcome Farms2ewe Mobile Farm Ltd to Little Acorns for a fantastic Stay & Play session – and what a success it was! The children loved meeting a delightful range of friendly animals, from playful goats and guinea pigs to a gentle pony and so much more.

There were plenty of smiles as everyone had the chance to cuddle, stroke and get up close to our adorable visitors. Our Little Acorns children especially enjoyed the experience, making magical memories and building confidence around animals in a fun, hands-on way. πŸ’›

🌟 Introducing The Open Table 🌟

We are proud to launch The Open Table! A new initiative designed to promote kindness, inclusion and connection within our school community. Open to pupils in Years 7–11, it offers a welcoming space for anyone who may feel unsure where to sit, would like to meet new people, or simply enjoy a friendly place during lunchtime. More than just a table, it’s a visible reminder that everyone belongs here πŸ’™

A huge well done to our Year 9 pupils, who created the beautiful tablecloth and 3D Open Table sign with the support of Jo Pemberton and Sarah Harris. It was fantastic to see Woody officially open the space, followed by the celebration of pupils nominated by their peers for truly living our values of kindness – complete with cupcakes! 🧁

Thank you to our dedicated Prefect hosts who will support The Open Table each week, and a special shoutout to Dylan (Year 9) for designing the cupcake artwork and helping create the 3D sign – an amazing contribution πŸ‘

Together, we’re building a community where everyone feels welcome. πŸ’«

πŸš€βœ¨ Enterprise Week in Action! βœ¨πŸš€
Our Year 6 pupils have been busy bringing their ideas to life as part of Crosfields Enterprise Week, working collaboratively to launch their very own businesses πŸ’‘

Throughout the week, the children have explored key business concepts including product value, profit, marketing and budgeting πŸ“Š They’ve designed their own logos, carefully considered packaging, and developed a fantastic range of creative products, including:
🧸 Squishies
🧁 Cupcakes
πŸ•―οΈ Candles
🍬 Pick β€˜n’ mix
πŸͺ Brookies (brownie-cookie treats!)
πŸ‘œ Denim bags
β˜• Mugs
🐢 Dog-friendly fudge
To round off the experience, pupils pitched their ideas in a β€˜Dragons’ Den’ style presentation πŸ‰ to a panel of teachers and our School Captains, competing to secure start-up funding.

Our School Captains were incredibly impressed:
πŸ’¬ β€œI was surprised to see the amount of preparation and research the pupils put in, and it was great to see their projects come to life.” – Monty
πŸ’¬ β€œI was incredibly impressed by the creativity of the pupils and the way they worked together to present their ideas so confidently. Their enthusiasm and professionalism showed maturity beyond their years.” – Elena

🌟 Next step… their final products will be sold to families at the Crosfields Market next month!
πŸ‘‰ Stay tuned to see their businesses in action!
