Here’s Katia’s story...
After my son was born (6 years ago) I really struggled with my pelvic floor.
I ended up going to my GP who sent me to their physio and then a specialist Pelvic Floor PT via the NHS, but unfortunately I didn’t find either of these routes resolved my cyclical issues.
That’s when I attended one of Gemma’s workshops, and it totally changed my understanding of what I need my pelvic floor to do (out with the kegels in with breathing exercises and tailored movement!).
Since then she’s been teaching at Yoga Reading every year sharing her knowledge about pelvic floor health and scar tissue rehab. I know firsthand how transformative this workshop is and I know it can and will help so many women like me!

This comprehensive training will empower you with the skills and knowledge to guide students through yoga practices for pregnancy, birth preparation, and postpartum healing, while also introducing baby yoga techniques.
Following this course students will be qualified to teach Pregnancy Specialist Yoga Classes and Postnatal Mother and Baby yoga classes.
Who can do this training?
Anyone who has been 200-hour certified. Ideally students will have an interest in supporting women through the childbearing years or want to learn more about yoga for this phase of life.
