N-able has disclosed active exploitation of a vulnerability affecting on-prem N-central deployments running versions prior to 2026.2 (CVE-2026-18556). Attackers gained remote admin access, used the platform's remote-control features to move into managed environments, then planted persistence via rogue tunnel services.
